Jared Kamrass is a leading Democratic political strategist in the Midwest and Upper South. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Kamrass graduated from The Ohio State University and the University of Cincinnati. In 2013, he founded Rivertown Strategies before joining Technicolor Campaigns in 2021 as a Principal.
Kamrass has served as the chief strategist and admaker for candidates for Congress, Governor, Mayor, State Legislature, and County Executive in 18 states across the country. He has also served as a Senior Advisor to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, FC Cincinnati, and the University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics. Additionally, Kamrass is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Cincinnati.
As the Principal and Chief Strategist at Rivertown Strategies, Kamrass consulted with clients to design communication and messaging strategies, wrote campaign plans, and marshaled staff and consultants. He also organized and executed large-scale fundraising operations for campaigns at the federal, state, and local levels. Kamrass’s client roster includes the DCCC, NRDC Action Fund, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, Mayor John Cranley (Cincinnati), Mayor Nan Whaley (Dayton), Senate Minority Leader Jeff Yarbro (Tennessee), State Rep. Brigid Kelly (Ohio HD-31), and the University of Cincinnati.
Kamrass is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Cincinnati, where he designs and creates course material for undergraduate students. He brings a bipartisan group of local elected officials and candidates to campus to engage with students.
Kamrass holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati’s Lindner College of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Strategic Communication (with honors) from The Ohio State University’s College of Arts and Sciences. He currently resides in Cincinnati with his wife Emma and their dog, Archie.
